Video: dancing Xinjiang man selling lamb kabobs

Took these videos during my day in Dongguan. While walking by the Dongguan Walmart, I heard music. This is what I saw...

It was Xinjiang men and women selling lamb kabobs, or as we call it here in China, 烤肉(kao rou - meaning roast meat). Their way of attracting customers was to dance. It certainly seemed to be working. I decided to get a closer look...

I think the guy on the right tried to hit me with lamb kabobs at 56 seconds into the video. I also like the kid at 1:05 who's too scared to approach the dancing man.

I then decided to buy some. I bought two lamb sticks for 5元...

Guess the man tried to hit me again at 19 seconds into the above video.

After saying my goodbyes, I walked down the street towards a large public park and took a bite. These kabobs normally feature pieces of lamb meat alternated with fat pieces. The first bite I took I thought, "oh no, that's a piece of fat." The consistancy was certainly similar. But then I looked down and discovered I had actually taken a bite of meat. The had mistaked it for fat because the meat was so succulent and tender. There were no fat pieces on either of the two kabobs. Blew my mind.
