New houses in super-rich developments in Beijing suburbs start at 10 million pounds

The Daily Mail calls them "the Great Halls of China."

In a suburb of Beijing developers are building 39 Palladian mansions costing a minimum of £10m to create the country's most expensive housing estate.
The Mentougou estate will be ready by the end of next year, but with the Chinese property market flooding with high-priced deserted properties there is a question as to whether anyone will buy them.
